We will dive elbow deep in a mixture of water and cotton. A strange compound, left on the sieve, will turn into a beautiful piece of paper in matter of hours.

No matter how beautiful the text, an illustration is always a nice addition. We will learn the oldest printing technique.

During the last decades, computers have strongly influenced the development of printing techniques, but bookbinding remains a job to be done mostly by hand.

All we need for an unusual postcard to appear before our eyes is a lick of paint, a roller, some paper and a spot of imagination.

In the same way as portraits inspire photographers, ex libris has proven to be an eternal theme amongst our visitors. This time we will create ex libris’ in a combination of woodcuts or linocuts and lead letters.

12 typographic enthusiasts will lock themselves in a studio for one week, and they will file, grind and knead something that most of us use without thinking about their origins – fonts.
