Mentor: Damijan Stepančič
9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Križevniška 16
Woodcut is a highly recognizable artistic technique due to its method of production and the tools used in the process. It allows expressing oneself through sharp drawings and distinctive contrasts. The lines are also influenced by the tools and materials used. The workshop includes manufacturing and printing a simple woodcut, as well as a demonstration of techniques for preparation of a multi-coloured woodcut.
Participants of workshop series Entirely My Book will also focus on the relation between image and text through defining their artistic relation. They will print their woodcuts next to texts they created previously.
