Tricycle prints stories from Tabor

The old tricycle is full of stories he lived through when he was still driving luggage all across Ljubljana. Since the tricycle doesn’t speak, however, we equipped it with a print shop as well as lead-made letters, and his adventures will be relived once again by master Tipo and storyteller Renesansa (Renaissance). You will thus find out that once upon a time Tabor was nothing other than a field and that it hosted almost an entire army battalion. Perhaps the old tricycle will also reveal exactly where a little stream was flowing, or perhaps he might even say a thing or two about a tremendously powerful hero.

There will be children workshop after performance.

Marko Drpić (Master Tipo) loves letters, and destiny decided that he will have a few tonnes of lead letters to carry around. He is a calligrapher, designer and letter carver, an enthusiastic collector and user of old print technologies. With the moving print shop he wishes to lure you to come and visit tipoRenesansa, the true old print shop, where you will be able to touch the print made by a lead letter and where you will be surrounded by the smell of printing ink.

Rada Kikelj (Storyteller Renesansa) and Robert Oven are in charge of the tricycle’s multi-practical programme, through which they approach children in their settlements and in the town streets. The tricycle is recognisable by its open trunk on its front in which it carries a myriad of things. With its diverse programme, that is always open for new ideas, it offers the young ones numerous possibilities for cooperation. The programme is prepared by a group of young artists, animators, comedians and street performers.
